Our two core activities are planning and land consultancy.
Our planning practice is wide ranging, embracing major sites, mainstream development proposals involving all types of development – typically retail, commercial and residential – through to smaller proposals including extensions and replacement dwellings.
A significant part of our work concerns the provision of strategic advice on how best to bring land and buildings forward for development in the short, medium or longer term. It is implicit in this that we have a close working knowledge of the entire development plan system and the plethora of documents that form policy and guidance. Equally important is the ability to deal productively with Local and other Authorities who are responsible for implementation of planning control.
Our land consultancy embraces all types of transactions and invariably relies on significant planning input which is frequently the major determinant of the contractual terms and conditions. We also advise on property rights related to both land and buildings.
